yeah the thing I dont like about it is you loose the v8 rumble.. but still an awesome kit for the price.

SCREW the V8 rumble.....I love it when people say that.
You dont think the mixture of a cammed V8 and a screaching turbine would'nt strike fear into the hearts of any would-be challengers.

u still hear the cam lope and rumble of the v8 engine with the sts kit. i am still not a fan of it and for what 500-600 bucks more u can have a real turbo kit... at least for an fbody.

I actually live a mile from STS and know the people who work there!
They got it down for F-Bodies and trucks, but a 2.2 Liter Ecotec Cobalt stumped the hell out of them.
If you guys got special questions you want answered i can talk to them adn see whats up.
I don't need no stinking SIG. Wait this is one.
DOH!
I'm sure he meant a "normal" or "conventional" turbo kit... I know id rather have one up front under the hood. Its obviously the kit works but I wouldnt ever get one. Rear mounted turbo just seems stupid, at first I thought they were alright kits.
But as I said in my earlier post... for 99+ GM trucks, detroit speedworks > STS. if you disagree you ARE wrong

you won't hear big lope on turbo cars too often. reason being is the overlap will kill the boost. so, the cam profiles are smaller & that kills the big lope your mind thinks about when you hear the words cammed v8
