Um yeah, I have one of those sitting out side, rotting in the yard....So if you could give me some specs, that would be amazing...
Actually same exzact year and everything, but mines Champane...
How did you get a manual...swap?

From a J-body v6 IIRC.
And now for something completely different... Click the Minister.
And that is??? lol..sorry
very nice time for a n-body the fastest before this was like a 13.5
spyhunter once again my memory serves me right you had an n-body.net account and said u where tired of all the 3.4 and 3.8 guys.
by no means i am trying to start trouble but im wondering was that u?
No the fastest time before this was a 12.9....set by spyhunter himself...
okay since people are speculating how I got a manual tranny. I'll clue everybody in, since my build up is VERY basic, just comprehensive for the most part.
2001 Pontiac Grand Am (SE coupe model) base of the base of the base

-decklid spoiler deleted
-power locks (that's all the power you need)
-ugly taupe tan whatever interior
This particular 2001 grand am model came with a 2.4L twin cam engine mated to a Getrag F23 transmission. People always go HOLY @!#$ A MANUAL!.?
OMGZ yes there were a few that sneaked by w/ a manual. So few, because most people option for the v6 engine which never came with a manual tranny option.
Anyways, basics of the buildup.

I thought it was reasonably well known that the I4 grand am's were available in manual. I would think that most that see how fast you are just assume that you're running a V6 and that's why are surprised about it being a manual.
if my alero woulda had the manual mated to my 2.4 i might put ino the time to fix it
nice work
hey you forgot the HO idi cover you bought from me off ebay
LOL
nice work
ive driven grand am's with a eco 5spd , so they are out there

I knew it was a 2.4 but I have never seen a 5 speed 99+ grand am...

Naw they don't count. Those are weekend toys.
All I need to get ready for the track is a trunk w/ a jack, two wheels w/ sticky icky, a wrench and a tire pressure gauge.
But JUST because you HAD to bring up the turbo L67's.... don't worry I'll be hitting some 11 second times soon enough. It's taken me awhile but I"m finally getting all the bugs out of this bastardized wannabe quad motor.
Nice to see you still around.
