Yep, after driving the cavalier for 5 years, I finally got what Ive wanted. a Black on black z28, FULLY loaded, and the 6 speed. Already been working on it, got an SLP intake, longtube ceramic coated headers, high flow cats, and loudmouth exhaust, oh and pro 5.0 shifter. next is some chassis bracing, tune, and a trip to the track. I have pics but no where to host em!

I like Corvettes better too and your theory does make sense... but....
F-bodies are usually cheaper to insure.
F-body parts are generally cheaper.
F-bodies are cheaper to purchase

If I had a place to host pics I'd put em up!! And as far as gas, so far Ive put well over 800 miles on it, the first tank I got 275 miles out of and the second I got 315 out of it, with mixed driving and a few "spirited" moments also. Thats only about 50 mi less a tank than the cavalier, and the tank is the same size.
