this is my first time dose this look right for the first layer so my hand was shakey theres no air bubbles

I could be wrong but it looks like you did not sand the surface of the plastic. You have to sand it and drill some holes for it to addhear alittle better. Other than that, it looks like you laid it down rather smooth. Good job.

Looks good! Make sure that the hole doesnt indent at all or you will be able to see where it was, but if its not too bad that can be fixed with bondo anyways. Looks like a really smooth layer of fiberglass, good job!

when you guys say drill holes do you actuallydrill holes in the area your going to fiberglass kind of like swiss cheese? Also is that spefically for fiberglassing on non-purous serfices, or anything at all.?

^^^^ thats what i want to know. I havent worked with fiberglass yet but as soon as i get the money im going to go to town on my car so im trying to gather as much knowledge as i can before i start.

if you're glassing onto glass or like MDF or something, you dont need to drill holes, but when it comes to plastics and textures like that, its best to drill holes and glass a little behind the structure so it holds from both sides.

this way the glass cant seperate from the plastic after time.

looks better then the majority of peoples first time take a bit of time when laying down your fiberglass and you can save yourself allot of time sanding.

yup, thats good. looks like you might need to do a bit of sanding with a high grit paper to get rid of a blemish or two and make it super smooth but other than that I'd say you did a pretty good job on the project
