I could be wrong but it looks like you did not sand the surface of the plastic. You have to sand it and drill some holes for it to addhear alittle better. Other than that, it looks like you laid it down rather smooth. Good job.
i did sand it and i did put some holes just not alot
Looks good! Make sure that the hole doesnt indent at all or you will be able to see where it was, but if its not too bad that can be fixed with bondo anyways. Looks like a really smooth layer of fiberglass, good job!

I need photoshop...cause its time for a new sig
if you're glassing onto glass or like MDF or something, you dont need to drill holes, but when it comes to plastics and textures like that, its best to drill holes and glass a little behind the structure so it holds from both sides.
this way the glass cant seperate from the plastic after time.
ahhhh i see now. Thanks for the info

sndsgood wrote:looks better then the majority of peoples first time take a bit of time when laying down your fiberglass and you can save yourself allot of time sanding.
i did go as slow as i could to get all the air bubbles out
sorry half asleep this is how it ended up
good?
yup, thats good. looks like you might need to do a bit of sanding with a high grit paper to get rid of a blemish or two and make it super smooth but other than that I'd say you did a pretty good job on the project
