tach problems
Friday, July 11, 2008 7:26 AM
I noticed my factory tach acting a little strange, i dont know if anyone else expiriences this.

The needle is jumpy, and is delayed from the actual engine. I will rev it, and about 1/2-1 full second later, that needle will jump up to the rpm i revved it to. it DOES have a smooth sweep when falling back down, so i dont think the needle is sticking on anything.

Any suggestions??

Yea the red car never had a tach so I swapped a turd cluster in the car. A few months down the road I had similar problems and I swapped it with another from the wreckers and it was fixed again.
