A different B&M Short throw question..
Thursday, June 15, 2006 9:04 PM
Ok so.. I'm doing my interior all black with the exception of a few pieces remaining charcoal gray (maybe). I very much want the B&M short throw shifter.. but even if I used the stock knob, I'd still have taht bit of silver poking out, which might be ok.. but I was thinking.. what if I painted it. Maybe like a light "dusting" of black to make it look like "black brushed aluminum".

Any suggestions?

all the pictures I've seen of it, the reverse lock-out is visible. *shrug* maybe I'll have to wait and see when I get it.

You could always get it powdercoated or anodized Something I've thought about doing for a while now.

just break the reverse lockout tab off of the shifter. it's not really needed.

Eric, B&M makes them... Jason at A-plus quoted me $60 for the leather knob a few months back & said they were in stock but not listed on his site. Karo said he could also order them
