Ok so.. I'm doing my interior all black with the exception of a few pieces remaining charcoal gray (maybe). I very much want the B&M short throw shifter.. but even if I used the stock knob, I'd still have taht bit of silver poking out, which might be ok.. but I was thinking.. what if I painted it. Maybe like a light "dusting" of black to make it look like "black brushed aluminum".
Any suggestions?

i think autozone or walmart has charcoal gray in spray can
what do you mean tad bit of silver still? i have the b&m short throw and im using my stock knob. you cant see any silver at all. i have the shift boot pulled up and you cant see anything
all the pictures I've seen of it, the reverse lock-out is visible. *shrug* maybe I'll have to wait and see when I get it.

You could always get it powdercoated or anodized
Something I've thought about doing for a while now.
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

just break the reverse lockout tab off of the shifter. it's not really needed.

shift boot covers the 1 in my g/fs cav , now i just need the b&m leather knob (if they ever make it) or the black coated knob they have
