Earlier today I changed my fluid and filter. In the haynes manual it told me I needed 7 qts to fill it back up. So I did that only to find out I overfilled it because I only needed 4 cause I didn't do a complete flush
I only plan on driving it like this until after work tomorrow so I can drain some of it out. Will it do any damage to my transmission if I drive it temporarily?

Worst that could happen is you blow a seal or foam the fluid up I wouldn't drive it till you fix that
I just cant drive 55
I plan on draining some out later today once its cools down outside. I couldn't help it I had no choice in driving my car to work today.

i would use a mighty vac and pull it out there is no guarantee how much you are going to drop if you plan on loosening the pan and draining some
