where can i tap into to hook up my feed line

You can have a Y pipe made that will go where the stock oil pressure sending unit is, and put the sneding unit and your oil feed on it. That is located on the front of the motor just below the intake manifold.

Or you can tap into the girdle near the oil pan. I just learned that one myself! Thanks Brandoson!

I used a port on the head under the intake manifold, Accel makes an adaptor for it

This has been posted numerous times....

a search for "ecotec oil feed" came up with lots of listings with pictures and descriptions...

This is a picture of where I did mine. I suggest using the one to the right of it because it is easier.



The fitting is 1/8" NPT to M12 x 1.75 I dont know the autometer part number off hand though. Its in those threads if you search.

yea i used 1 of the 3 bolts under the intake manifold the part number for that is 1
05-2277 or
105-2278
it is super easy to use 1 from the intakemanifold

with the 1 brandon used , you dont really have to remove anything big

allthough he did have to modify the egr block off plate , but there is another fitting in the head in that same area where you dont have to modify anything


and that is the spot id recomend , its the easiest to get to

only other easy 1 is the 1's under the exhaust manifold in the block , since youll have the exhaust off anyway

i have a 2006 pontiac solstice rear wheel drive can i get oil from block on header side of block , of oil feed been trying to pull up pic ,will not cme up

umm..........on your 2.4 the oil feeds will be on the back of your motor........close to firewall. there may be 1-2-3 oil spots on the exhaust side, they will be under the manifold......i havent had to much experience with the 2.4 as it wasnt in any j-bodys
