boost problem

finished down pipe on my ld9. installed it now my boost has droped to 3psi. i turn boost controler up and it seams like i loose boost.
advise please

no expert but kinda sounds like a leak in one of your hoses, did everything get hooked back up?

but befor i put the exhaust it was getting 8-9 pst no tune

The idiots are breeding...

Does it not strike people as a good idea to research before they get themselves into situations like this? You don't understand how a simple turbocharger system works, and yet your running around on no tune at 9psi...

At least use the search button... cripes...

check and see if your cat or muffler is clogged. this will prevent boost. also. if your not tuned then get it tuned.

Do some research as Alex advised you too. In the mean time keep driving around boosted with no tune and be sure to post the carnage pics.

Far to many people come here, slap on a home made turbo kit, drive un tuned and wonder why there is ring lands in there oil pan.

Read, read, and do some more reading, dont follow this trend your on
