how does this look?
comes with lifetime warranty as well, im pretty well set on it as my friend who owns a shop can bring them in at a very good price
where the wastegate flange is at is placed ideally as well i think but thats why im asking
thanks for the help
At first glance I'm not sure if my turbo could clear that wastegate flange to be honest.... I mean it barely fit on my log manifold without an external wastegate....
Have you test fitted your turbo to it?
Quality looks amazing.

Looks good....My T3 flange is were you gate flange is and the my gate flang sit on top of that....and both pieces sit on cylinder number 2's exhaust port.
I dont think the wastegate will clear.... might wanna do it like everyone else does with the externalgate and get a corner put it above the t3 flange

Z speed: im sorry but i dont follow, you got pics by any chance or a link?
also with the wastegate where it is on the manifold i was told it would be better off the turbo flange if i was to run it open dump
honestly looks like itll jus fall apartment if you move it. Should probably weld it and such first before offering such a sturdy warranty on it
but honestly you should probably get more into the works before offering a warranty like that because you have no idea how itll last under his welds, and the way you construct it... seems pretty simple but theres A LOT of small stuff involved when making manifolds that last... are you machining the flanges flat after welding it? IT WILL warp no matter how hard u try and make it not warp... theres a few other things i would mention but its my secrets ive discovered over the past few years i keep to myself.

lol.....i dont think hes looking to make these and sell them......i'm pretty sure thats one hes looking at buying. lol...i love "secrets"
O well i feel kinda dumb. The way i read it, it looked like he was wanting to sell them, not to mention the part of it looking like it wouldnt hold together was a joke about it not being welded yet! other than that looks like a decent peice, not much to it. I think the wastegate is in a bad location tho, to close the turbo or downpipe, those wastegates have a very large head on them.

for the people suggesting relocating the wastegate flange, you got pics so i know what you mean?

do you even have a turbo yet? It may work with a 0.48 turbine, but not likely the 0.63, but it is impossible to tell from the photos.

Yea scott i would say get another elbow and bring your wastegate away from where the turbo sits... i dont know about the turbo your getting but i know with mine it wouldnt fit there or it would be a DAMN close fit... you saw how mine was right?

nope, and the turbo i will be running is a garret gt28rs
will the wastegate with where its at in the pictures i first posted would it hurt in any way for performance?
hey sorry i ran out of posts but yea what i was tryin to say is do it like most standard logs with waste gates are done like the pics on hr prowelding

boost will be soon for me....
i think that it might hit the cruise/throttle cable box on the passenger side, my turbo's compressor is the same size as a t04b frame for size reference, anyone know off hand if that would hit and even with the manifold will it hurt performance wise at all?
