is the dis2 deinatley needed on the 2200? I am going to be installing a 75 shot on my mainly stock 2200. I have ran the spray on other vehicles without a timing retard.
Just curious as to how the 2200 reacts to spray.
I would like a wiring diagram for a dis 2

Do you feel safe nearly doubling the wheel horsepower of your 2200 without a timing retard? I mean, if you had a v8 and you put a 400 shot on it (assuming 400whp stock), wouldn't you want to retard it?
totally understand, how much timing does it take out, does it have a two step? just curious about it being it costs so much.

Its fully adjustable, thats why its expensive.

Buy stuff from CarCustoms Ebay! Won't be disappointed!
i have the msd dis 2 on my 2200 and it is worth every penny, although if you run 100 octane when you are spraying a 75 shot you dont really need to retard your timing, the msd produces a lot more powerful spark to get a really good burn of the gas that you are using, i have sprayed a lot on my 2200 at a 75 shot without retarding the timing on the msd and i have not had a single problem, i was going through about two bottles a weekend, so if you do it right you really wont need to retard timing, and your not doubling your horsepower with a 75 shot!!!! you MIGHT see 50 to 60 horses with that at the wheels, and last time i checked the 2200 made 115 not 75
Mine dyno'ed at 109 stock! But not all 2200's are the same :/
Wonder what Im at now hehe.
