does anyone know the normal pressure range for the low side 134-a refrigerant on a 98 cavalier?
Just get a guage from autozone when you buy a bottle of R134-a it's like $25 total for it all... and the guage tells you when it's empty, full, caution, danger I personally like to keep mine in the full/caution area... also read the directions... it says to move the bottle up to the 12 o'clock position then back to the 3 o'clock position evry two to three seconds... this does wonders for the A/C! Also I'd recommend getting the refrigerant that has the "STOP LEAK" also... just in case your car is like mine and has alot of miles. PM me if you need to know anything else...
low side should be around 45psi, and the high side should be about ambient temp times 2.5, so if its 80 should be 200-220psi
