ABS Trouble Light
Thursday, August 02, 2007 12:13 AM
Ok I know this has been discussed but I have discovered some new info for my problem. It's that my ABS, Service and Trac Off lights are always on. Obviously this is due to a faulty speed sensor. I tried cleaning them but no help. Then today I searched on ALLDATA and found a TSB for this problem. It says that it can be cause by a faulty connection on the left front sensor and the harness may need replaced. Has anyone else heard of or tried this? If so did this solve your problem?

i always thought my left front was the problem. my abs light is on too. I do know the insulation is worn off and the wiring a lil frayed, but i taped over it and hoped for the best. i just put up with no abs for now

i replaced mine lastnight and everything is fine now, was a cracked wheel sensor and it was making the plug loose.

One sensor and one connector cost me $213CAD (about $200USD) from the dealership, back in the summer (only place in town that had them). Consider that price a steal.

I have the same issue, but the wire snapped just in between the tires. Damn snow!

+1. dealership here wants $170 just for one sensor. if you can get them for $80, jump on that ish.
