ok the dripping is back, and im almost positive it is the tranny fluid now. the check engine light and the ETS OFF light both come on, and the shifting feels wierd. isnt the ETS the traction system for the tranny?
anyways i dont know if its the rear seal that you have to pull the engine for, or if its just the seal around the tranny pan. the drip is comming off the corner of the tranny pan......so.....
what do you guys think?

I don't think the CEL is related to your leaking trans...
Have you pulled the code?

havent pulled any codes yet, but if there is a leak of oil or tranny fluid, will it throw a code for sure? i didnt think it threw codes for stuff like that.

First things first... always check the codes... that's why the light comes on, right? That's why it's there.... to tell you what is wrong with the system.
There are many transmission codes... a huge list. It could be as simple as a low fluid level (have you checked that yet? It's a pain to do, but could be all that the problem is)
ETS = traction control... yes, transmission.
However... I notice in your registry you have a B&M Shiftplus.... that increases the line pressure... which will turn off the ETS.... so that's normal, depending on the setting of your B&M Shiftplus.

You may have a leaking trans cooler line at or near the trans, but check your codes like^^^^^ said.
Thats Him Officer The WICKED One.
i took it to the shop, ended up being a nice little hole in he corner of my tranny pan.
i must have hit it on somthing, because it left 3 little pebbles inside the bottom of my pan.
the ETS and CEL are still on, but im assumming they stay on for a few days even after the problem is fixed, until the ECU resets? is that correct?

did you even get the codes checked?
nope, friend told me to wait a while and see if they go off, and they did. the next day after i fixed my tranny the lights went off.

look deep under the car, and there should be a switch on the lower firewall on the passenger side, the switch reads "broken" and "fixed". it's probably flipped to broken, very common on these cars, then flip it to fixed, should run good as new.
