Just wondering if it is possible to get the code or problem manually without a reader? I recall on my old Plymouth Sundance all you have to do is turn the key back and forth like 4 times and then the engine light would flash x number of times and that was your code number!! Can we do this with a Cavalier? Mine is a 2000. Thanks
if you go to autozone they can check diag. trouble codes for free

im from Ontario, i called around crappy tire, partsource none of those places do it, the best thing you can do is check ebay and buy a cheap OBD2 scanner they are like 20$ instead of 50$ at crappy tire. Its a useful tool to have..
