can we say happy
Quick recap:
-1/4 tank of gas (94 as usual now).
-15" 2 gen z24 rims (thanks gus) on the front with stock (
10years old, the only tires i have left to race with ) 195/65/15 BG goodrich all season tires at 20psi.
-Full interior, w/sub and 18's on back. Weight in at 2715 without me (i give 15lbs for the rachet set i had in trunk..so 2700 even).
-stock clutch still holding after mm.. 12-16 dumps
First run:
60' -2.365 (launched at 3000rpm.dropping the clutch.spin lots.but not bad)
1/8 -9.562
1/4 -14.628
mph-96.65
Know i had a 14.6x in it, since i had 2 14.70's last time with 2.3x 60fts. All i did was change my spark plugs to tr6's from acdelco to rid the misfire code.
second run:
60' -2.416 (launched at 2800rpm.dropping the clutch.bogged for a sec)
1/8 -9.558
1/4 -14.618
mph-96.77
Again..slightly faster after not so great start.
Third run: dopped psi to 19.5. Dropped the clutch at 3200 (magic number) and had some good wheel hope, but....
60' -2.284
1/8 -9.400
1/4 -
14.439
mph-97.40
Hell ya  14.439..surpassed the 14.5x i was looking for. Not to mention, room for improvement on tire selection

Nice time, pretty sweet trap speed too!

those are awesome times Nate for the mods you have, i still have that 2.6" pulley if your interested
Anyways i had my car at the track about 2 weeks ago and i also was very happy with my times, my goal all along is to just hit 12's with my car and now i can taste it, it wont happen this year as our tracks are about to close and my clutch isnt drag worthy anymore but next season with the built bottom end, 12psi and the 55 shot of nitrous im there if i can hook
Here was my slip, followed by my mod list so hopefully no one calls bs, but im sure there will be those who do seeing that my slip is not scanned
Anyways...

Not bad at all with the stock pulley. Better tires and you could be looking at a 14.2.

auto, s/c, 59mm tb, everything else stock (including crappy rsa's), plus a system.

And here I thought the story was he traded it in to RSM when he got their blower. Looks like it's just a myth...kinda like his 14.4 @ Michigan
@!#$.. my bad. It *WAS* Borgs blower, and somebody else sold it to me. I dealt with him lots for info, b/c it was his. But he didn't sell it to me. Sorry, i didn't think that through.
But my 14.4 is real

Superb!!!!
If those BFGs are the same as the ones that are found in Js (My SE S/F for e.g.) then that is your Achille's heel right there. When I had those, geez were they ever lousy. The RSAs although better then those BFGs, are crappy as hell with the torque we have on these things.
