need some help guys!!!

ok im running a 6 channel ma audio amp pushin 1600 watts

it has two channels dedicated to subs eack channel pushes 200 watts rms

now my question is it i bridge the channels will both subs recieve 400 watts rms???

i had a sealed bow with 2 10's but one day they stopped workin and now only one works when it wants to so i want to buy new ones but not sure on the power thing here, thank u in advance...

well if you bring it to a meet enough ppl have amps there we could test out the subs

it all depends on the amp itself. did youread the manual. it should tell you all the power options you have with it.

well man im not sure its a 3 year old amp i bought off my dad so i have no manual for it so thats why im askin!

If it puts out 200 watts per channel, and you bridge the channels, generally you lower the resistance. That COULD, up the wattage to 400 per channel, or it could provide resistance too low that it will fry the amp, or it could put otu still 200 watts to each sub. Depends on the amp.

then my next suggestion is to give ma audio a call. chances are they will send you out a new manual. email one to you, or tell you directly what is safe to run the amp on.

ok man well i got a manual for it off line and it says it stable at 4-8 ohm so if i keep the channels brigded like they were with my old subs will both subs recieve 400 watts???
