ok im running a 6 channel ma audio amp pushin 1600 watts
it has two channels dedicated to subs eack channel pushes 200 watts rms
now my question is it i bridge the channels will both subs recieve 400 watts rms???
i had a sealed bow with 2 10's but one day they stopped workin and now only one works when it wants to so i want to buy new ones but not sure on the power thing here, thank u in advance...
well if you bring it to a meet enough ppl have amps there we could test out the subs

1989 Turbo Trans Am #82, 2007 Cobalt SS G85
anyone at all know if i would be pumpin 400 watts then to each sub??
well man im not sure its a 3 year old amp i bought off my dad so i have no manual for it so thats why im askin!
If it puts out 200 watts per channel, and you bridge the channels, generally you lower the resistance. That COULD, up the wattage to 400 per channel, or it could provide resistance too low that it will fry the amp, or it could put otu still 200 watts to each sub. Depends on the amp.
ok man well i got a manual for it off line and it says it stable at 4-8 ohm so if i keep the channels brigded like they were with my old subs will both subs recieve 400 watts???
