I have a 2000 alero I changed the plugs and the far left plug when I pulled it out was filled with oil and was wonder how bad this problem is and how to fix it thanks for your support
"Filled with oil" ... does this mean:
1. plug threads were oily
2. looking in the spark plug hole it's filled with oil
3. between the camshaft towers where the spark plugs go there's puddling and oily surfaces
4. plug tip was soaked in oil
Could be anything. Piston rings allowing oil to leak into the cylnder, camshaft tower cover gasket leaking (most likely) which allows oil to drip down into the spark plug area and go down the threads like mine did.

@turboalero
The whole plug and socket was dripping with oil. It was like a pool of oil and the car has been miss fireing on one cyclinder that's why I changed the plugs
do you not have your crank case vent tube hooked up to your intake (like a breather filter or something else). cause i had that same problem hooked it back up to the intake and it stopped
It wouldnt be any fun if it was easy.
