2.4L Timing Chain question
Friday, July 08, 2005 7:55 PM
Is it necessary to change the actual timing chain itself? I have all the gaskets, the tensioner, tensioner shoe and guides, can the chain be re-used? or is it likely worn at 163,000kms? I anyone who has done it did you change the chain?

if your going to tear it down to that point then change it for crying out loud. Then no worries, dont reuse it if you take it off.
