Is there any variation of the spoiler bolt patterns on 3rd gen trunk lids? Are they all the same?

A more accurate observation has never been typed. These should be the starting points before any serious performance modification. What's the point of making a serious performer if you can't control it's power?

if you go from the 95-02 to 03 style, you will have 2 extra holes

so not definitely the same

why stop at the 03? 04 and 05s are the same .. unless your talking about those few cavs with the sunfire sedan and grand am spoilers. which have the two pedistals

awesome with the quickness! Thanks. I was opening up my options for replacing my '03+ trunk lid. I was hoping it could be either a z or base w/ spoiler 95-02. Should make my choices a little more open at the junk yard.

any trunk lid from a coupe and sedan cavalier will work for you... and also with the sunfire sedans .. they use the same trunk lids .. (coupes dont count)

sunfire sedans have the light bar across the trunk though so youll either have to leave that on or weld the 8 or so holes that are underneath

yea forgot about the light bar.

yea if you plan on putting the 00-02 z24/ ls sport spoiler your gonna need to find a 95-02 cavalier sedan/coupe or convertible trunk lid. why? because the 03-5 cavalier light bar gets in the way of the lower part of the spoiler. most likely the same reason as the sunfire trunk lid.

or save for the headaches on find a trunk without holes and try to get the rk sport CF trunk bezel

I wanted to eliminate the lightbar all together. I'm basically swapping the front and rear of this car from an '04 to an '02, minus the ls sport rear fascia. If I can find someone to part with an Xtreme tuner rear, even that will go.
