How hard is it to actually take off along with the top brake light?

I'm SERIOUSLY thinking of permanently removing the spoiler/brake light, but my mom is worried about it leaving blemishes/wholes in the trunk...will it be to bad that I couldnt patch the wholes from the inside so that it doesn't leak?

Yes, there will be holes, and the only way to fix them is to have them welded shut and the trunk repainted.

Its easy to take the spoiler off, but if your car is old i can bet that you will have paint damage under the spoiler. So you will most likley have to have it painted, maybe you can just leave it on and buy the rk sport spoiler and get that painted and installed instead.

Yep it will leave holes that will have to be welded up from the inside and then you will need to have the trunk repainted.

It's not hard to remove, as you see in Yellow Rimed One, you have 6 nuts to remove. For the brake light, just unplug it and you can remove the spoiler. As for the holes I had them temporary filled until the paint!!!

Spoilerless is sexy

*drools* Man, seeing all these sexy spoilerless Sunfires makes me want to go outside and take my spoiler off right now. However, I am going to be patient and wait until I get the holes filled in . Looks good everyone .

@ Jeremy Staton: I definitely think you should remove it. The Coupes look so much better spoilerless.
