How hard is it to actually take off along with the top brake light?
I'm SERIOUSLY thinking of permanently removing the spoiler/brake light, but my mom is worried about it leaving blemishes/wholes in the trunk...will it be to bad that I couldnt patch the wholes from the inside so that it doesn't leak?
Its easy to take the spoiler off, but if your car is old i can bet that you will have paint damage under the spoiler. So you will most likley have to have it painted, maybe you can just leave it on and buy the rk sport spoiler and get that painted and installed instead.
Yep it will leave holes that will have to be welded up from the inside and then you will need to have the trunk repainted.
ya like everyone has said u need to weld metal on then re paint you could put duct tape over it for temp use thats what i did when i was waiting for the car to be painted once its off it looks great imo as well
yeah just what he said^^^ lol i would do it bro and it really wasnt that much of a hassle, except the guy that did my warp the hell out of it with the heat, but body filler took care of that!

i have the black "christmas trees" from autozone on there till i can get it painted. with a little silicone from home depot. no leaks!
It's not hard to remove, as you see in Yellow Rimed One, you have 6 nuts to remove. For the brake light, just unplug it and you can remove the spoiler. As for the holes I had them temporary filled until the paint!!!
Spoilerless is sexy
