Its a 1998 Ford Taurus SHO.
3.4L 32V V8 - Less then 20 000 produced between 96-99.
Great car, it's just too bad it only came with an auto after 95.
Nice Taurus.......wanna give me your motor?
I'm planning on doing an SHO swap in my 96 wagon

BTW what does SHO stand for? ______ high output?
don't know why but ive always though a fast family car is pretty neat
i almost got a silver 99 with black leather and all the works
but it had almost 100,000 miles on it at the time (2 years ago)
i still wanted it but ended up with the cav
go fig huh?
I'd love to get one of those 3rd gen SHOs, I personally think they are the best looking SHOs ever made. It's too bad that those SHOs were such a threat to the Mustang of the time that Ford had to mate it to such a horrible tranny, imagine if the 1st and 2nd gen 5-speed had been mated to that V-8, it would have been a screamer
Yella02-I promise I will return to you in one piece and this will stay up until I am safely home
in comparison how is the older SHOs performance to the new SHO? engine output etc.

Shortly after the transaction was finalized, Chuck roundhouse kicked the devil in the face and took his soul back. The devil, who appreciates irony, couldn't stay mad and admitted he should have seen it coming. They now play poker every second Wednesday of the month."
as far as i know the older SHO's (early 90's 5 speed only) are the fastest out their
1998 Cavalier
1995 Trans Am
1984 Camaro Z28
^yup
the 3.4 yamaha motor is a slow piece of junk compared to the older shos.

lol....the 3.4 v8 is not a yamaha motor....the 3.0 mtx or 3.2 atx v6 from the previous generation is the yamaha motor...you are sort of half right....the 3.4 v8 shos are slower compared to the older yamaha powered sho's....mainly because of weight though.
Supercharged 95 BMW 540i M-Sport
::cough cough::
the 3.4 V8 history
and as far as i know, the v8 SHO's run about 15.5's. i'm not sure of the v6's, but i'd imagine they are pretty close to that (if someone can confirm this, it'd be appreciated)
