Performance Parts For Cavalier, Sunfire, Cobalts and More!!!
Mine have been collecting dust for almost three years now
Why haven't I seen a recent post about someone having to notch these to fit? I believe that came up a few times in the past...

Something about them not clearing the bottom of the cylinder bore. It would have to be somewhere along the neck, as that is the only portion that is physically larger:
I've also heard of people having problems fitting wrist pins through the small end, and having to bore it out a tad.

Eagle claims that you do not need to hone out the small end bushing. However, every forged aluminum piston manufacturer that I've dealt with, does not make a standard sized GM 2.2L wrist pin, without it being custom made.
The stock wrist pins on our engines fit very nicely into the small end bushing, but WiseCo nor JE stock that size. It would have to be a custom jobber.
yea i ordered my pistons from import performance parts and the guy said that the pins were custom made and stuff thats why its taking so long

I see... well hopefully they go in well. I'm glad you got the ARP rod bolts with yours.
