which wire on the sensor do i splice into for an air/fuel ratio gauge? thanx
DRIVE HARD OR DONT DRIVE AT ALL!!!
the gauge should include a splicing clip, clip should be red. i know mine is red. just use the instructions.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
i got it off ebay for $20 no instructions. autometer pro-lite. i installed it but it doesnt realy give me a good reading. it says im runnin all the way rich at wot and lean when i let off.
DRIVE HARD OR DONT DRIVE AT ALL!!!
ok thanx. so when i boost my car. if it starts showin lean at wot then im gonna have to add fuel mods right.
DRIVE HARD OR DONT DRIVE AT ALL!!!
I hope I dont get flamed too bad for this... whats WOT? And while we're kinda on the subject, whats N/A? I know what N/A is, non-boosted, but does it officially stand for anything?

the a/f guage is really on good to keep a constant eye on WOT a/f ratio. DO NOT USE IT TO TUNE YOUR CAR. Its more so just a small glimpse of how the car is running.

N/A for anyone who doesn't know what aspiration is.
Turbo and SuperChargers are forced aspiration, they force air into the engine, NA means that the only reason air goes in is by being sucked in by the fires need for oxygen as a fuel.

so, how would i go about tuning my car for rich/lean. and also how can i really know what it's doin? cause the air/fuel gauge just dances around and is not a really good way to tune.

you dont buy guages really to tune a car.... some help like shifted pointed out with the wideband..
guages let you know that everything is ok, and when something goes wrong. so you can monitor things as you are driving.
