MODIFICATIONS
Engine:- 6.5 Turbo Diesel - VIN: F High Output - L65 RPO
- Custom PCM from Heath Diesel
- Peninsular Diesel marine intake. Re-tapped for boost sensor .. boost gauge .. and IAT sensor
- Stant Lever-Lift 16lb coolant reservoir cap
- Dual stainless steel 180 degree thermostats
- Quick heat WAP glow plugs
- Removed vacuum pump
- Factory GM-8 turbocharger
- JDM Sport Top Mount Intercooler. 2 1/2" inlet/outlet .. 22" long x 5.5" wide x 2.5" thick. JDM Sport intercooler pipes .. stainless T-clamps replaced ... replaced T-clamps with screw type hose clamps. T-clamps were causing a V in the coupler between the ends .. under the screw. This caused multiple leaks. No more leaks with standard screw hose clamps.
- 2x 127mm x 127mm x 38mm 200 CFM fans mounted on intercooler. Wired with 3-way switch. Force On/ Full Off/ Auto on. Auto on is wired to a boost switch set for 10 PSI.
- Homemade manual boost controller - set for 14 PSI
- Hi-flow intake with Fram Boost filter
- Replaced boost solenoid with 50 ohm 10 watt resistor. Removed solenoid
