i bought the car for 500 bucks and blew up the motor in 3 days for my first 5spd. i was racing with it and put it R (is for RACE right?)j/k, instead of 1st and droped the clutch at 5k rpm and the motor mad a cool pop sound and then i laughed as i realized i need to walk 25 miles home.....hahaha. so then i swapped a 1.8t from a 99 vw passat and kep it stock and had no interior except for driver and pass. seats, bars with a makeshift gauge cluster on it, and that was about it.
