1997 Pontiac Sunfire

About This Vehicle:

I bought this car in 2002 from a dealer who is a friend of the family. It was in unbelievably good condition when I bought it, and still is. The interior is immaculate, and I continue to keep it extremely clean, and the exterior only has a few scratches and the like, and I keep it washed and waxed. In addition, I keep a bra on the front end to protect it from road stones and scratches, and I think it looks good as well with the black bra and trim against the deep purple paint. I take good care of the mechanical aspects of it; I've always done routine maintenance, such as changing the oil every 2500, maintaining fluid levels, and routine tune-ups. The only repairs I've had to make in it were to replace headlight bulbs, and replace the water pump (both of which can be expected to go on any car around 100,000 miles). The car has the original clutch at 130,000 miles, and there's no sign that it should be replaced soon. Overall, this car looks basically like it's off the lot, and most people are surprised to see that it has 130,000 miles on it. I love the 5 speed transmission, and I do not care for automatic transmissions at all. I have plans for some minor mods in the future, but it is a sedan, and I would like to keep it more of a practical, clean looking car than any sort of show car.
