The 'official' day 1 of the event and many many people showed up. Activities at the
Lordstown Assembly plant began with various speakers from GM. Tours ran throughout
the day, and GM announced they would be giving away $4000 in prizes to the attendees.
Late afternoon activities at Quaker City Raceway attracted a much smaller crowd. Those that were present were able to dyno their cars and get many runs down the 1/4 mile strip.
