figures, our economy is a joke, rich get richer, and the poor get poorer.
Minimum wage is still around 5.15. Hasn't changed in over 8 years. I remember when it went from 4.75 fo 5.15. So we get an increase in baseline wages of 9.2% 8 years ago.
Housing is insane right now. The main reason why I'm renting an apartment. $1122.00/month for a nice apartment 10 minutes from work for $1600/month for a beat up shack with, on a good day, a 40 minute drive from work. Not to mention the maintanence costs I'd have to pay on a house.
I'm waiting it out for at least a year or 2 hoping prices will become more reasonable again.
Lucky for me my yearly raises exceen inflation. Others, are far less fortunate.
