Had the body looked at last Friday and this is what i got. Gonna run me probobly 1500-2000 to get all the work done (no body kit)(get rid of rust) and paint. Since i paid $800 should i bite the bullett or just oil the car and get 2yrs out of it. Thinking about a Cobalt SS in 2014.

Depending on how much you love the car will decide if it's worth it. I’m looking for a respray in the next few years, but I don't plan on getting rid of this Cavi. Nobody but you can say if it's worth it or not. Personally 2 g for a rust fix and respray isn't too bad. That's what I am expecting.
basically its just somthing to get back and forth to work..... definatley not a show car
Then I'd say save your money let it rot and trade it in for what ever down the line.
Like i said in an earlier post. I'll oil it before winter to slow the rust. Hopefully get 2 more summers out of it than part it out. Lookin at a Cobalt SS in 2015
