I have a 01 Cavalier and I put HIDs in. My service light came on and I read here that it has something to do with my DRLs. I live in Ontario and I think its illegal to drive without them here. Wondering if I can use my factory bulb as fog lights or something to keep the service light from coming on.
Only thing I can think off is disabled the drls and taping into an accessory power source to a different set of eels
My drls work fine with my hids. I put a relay in to change the voltage from 6v to 12v so the hids stay on.
On the inside my car looks like a fighter jet.
Im guessing you have a Cavalier too. Is there a kit I can buy to do that? I need to replace all my lamps so I am probably going to buy everything at once.
Can you post a diagram or pic off how you did it? That would be awesome.
That would help me out too if thats possible. Or is all you did is wire DRLs directly to battery? I hear that works too.
