the side mouldings are just held on with basicaly double sided tape, a heat cum and fishing line is your friend.... as far s getting the residue of the paint idk,
but be warned if your paint is FADED, under the side moudlings wont be and it will be really obvious...... i learned the hard way

I think he meant heat GUN haha .... You can get any small residue off with compound. If the paint hasent been really taken care of i wouldnt take em off since the paint underneath will be noticeably different. I kept mine waxed and removed the dealer decal and badges 7 years after it was new and you could not tell it was ever there
What about the emblems????

The emblems/badges are held on with double sided tape as well. Same procedure to remove them as well.
