I thought i had saw a discussion about this not to long ago but i couldnt find it. i have a bay speed fiberglass body kit its in great condition but it looks pretty thin. id like to reinforce it to keep from cracking. i was wondering what people are doing to keep them from cracking. thanks
U could add more fiberglass cloth to the back of it to make it thicker and less likely to crack as easy
Thanks, would you happen to know if anyone is putting foam on the inside or i was thinking about using a spray can of flex seal. would this be a good idea?
can of rock guard/rubberized coating after you thicken the fibreglass up will go a long ways
I don't really know of anyone with putting foam in just more fiberglass to thickening it up and I agree with lafngas rockguard will help a lot...
if you add more glass make sure to do it right. prep is key. Sanding in particular.
If you don't, it will seperate from the origional layers
