I picked up a set of toyota cavalier tail lights and after reading 3 or 4 different write ups on how to install them, I still can't figure it out.
Is there a harness that comes with the toyo tails that I'm missing? This is what I got from factory housing:
I went out and bought a bulb socket since none came with the lights I got, this is what I have:
I can't seem to find the four wire harness with the white wire as pictured here anywhere:
So my questions are:
Am I missing a bulb socket that comes with the toyo tails?
Where is the white wire that I need coming out of the harness?

gonna be like a needle in a hay stack. no actually you have a better chance at find the needle.. lol good luck, i have no idea where you can find those since they are part of a lighting harness in the toyo cav.
talk to manta, maybe he can make a harness for you since he just made a plug and play harness for his tails, you MIGHT get lucky. MIGHT.
i hate to bump an ancient thread, but I've run into this same problem and would hate to have a useless set of tailights. Does anyone have an alternate way to wire these up? Any help would be great.
Pretty sure I still have the Toyota Tail Harnesses. I might even have two sets. Just gotta dig through a couple boxes in the garage. Whats it worth to ya? lol.

Okay finally got some pics of my set up.
First off is a pic of where I get my brake signal.
Since my LSS has a spoiler, I used the unused connector for the rear dash 3rd for the brake signal.
Now a shot of how my setup looks all hooked up.
A shot of my adapter/jumper harness.
All of the connectors and terminals I got online through two sites and with shipping cost about $27.
As for the pinout of the tail light side, the four cavity:
A: Turn Signal
B: Tail Light
C: Brake Light
D: Ground

Everything except the Pack-con I had gotten from Mouser Electronics. And I had recently checked for everything, and you can get it all from Mouser. As a word of advice, do a search with the part numbers and select the listing with "New At Mouser" under "Mfr. Part #" It will allow you to order units in multiples of 1, except for number 12110842 and 06294511.
