I was thinking about putting red mirror tint on my 96 cavalier but before I do I want to know if it's legal in Saskatchewan and Montana.
ask the tint shops they should have the laws posted

Thanks Zyaaa, moving to MT in a few months so I don't want to get pulled over by my cousin or aunt.
As for 02_redbadged, they have silver, blue, teal, gold, orange and purple but they never heard of red before.
I know it might look tacky but it sure beats the heat! At 35+ weather in the summer, I would rather have tacky tint then than a smelly interior.
If its not illegal it should be.... otherwise black tint only...

as a reference, i have 5% on all windows (including the rear) and 35% on the windshield and have never been pulled over in the 4 years i've had it. but this is in NJ, tint laws are more lax here.
guidelines are more strict, enforcement, notsomuch. nothing windshield, 35% front windows, anything back three.

most tint laws are ridiculus. if it was really that big of a deal it would be more generalized and more like a federal law. but instead every state has their own LOL
in some states they even allow you to get a eye doctor's note to be able to have tint either darker or in places previously illegal. um, just wear sun glasses?

As others have said, if you're going to tint the windows, just use regular black tint. Any other color will look extremely tacky.
