So i will be getting that bumper soon and it has no blinker or fog assemblies...and iv read that people replace the amber with the clear blinkers from a 95-99 gt..my question is are the 95-99 GT blinker assemblies a direct fit for the 00-02 GT fog AND blinker?
No. The fog lights are bigger than the marker lights.
so could i still use stock 95-99 gt for markers?
Yes. The 95-99 GT turn signal assemblies are basically the same as the 00-02 ones. They just have a clear lens instead of amber. As for the fog lights holes in the bumper they are a lot bigger and deeper than the holes for the turn signals.

Also, the marker light lens and the fog light lens look completely different due to requiring two entirely different designs for proper light output. Below is a closeup picture of the marker light and fog light on my former 2002 Sunfire GT (ignore the blue reflection of the Xenon bulbs, this was taken during my "blue period"
). You will notice the marker light lens appears more "frosted", whereas the fog light lens appears much more "clear".
Switching it around a little. I'm swapping from the 00-02 GT to 95-99 GT and would like to keep the fog lights. Would they bolt into the marker light location or not?

The side markers are interchangeable as follows:

2000-2002 Sunfire GT Coupe front & rear side markers
2000-2002 Sunfire SE Coupe front & rear side markers
2000-2002 Sunfire SE Sedan front side markers
2003-2005 Sunfire Coupe front & rear side markers
2003-2005 Sunfire Sedan [Canada only] front side markers

Well considering everything else is blacked out on my car.......it would be pointless to buy new..thats why im trying to find used markers
Ironic...blacked out on a white car. Unique is good though. Guess my fog lights will require more work than expected, but that's alright.
