Getting ready to pick up a brand new GM 03-05 hood. Just need to know the width to ensure it will fit in my HHR 2LT w/ the seats down.

Yes, I have searched and found box dimensions for shipping. I want the actual hood width. Thanks in advance.

I don't think it will. I tried putting a hood into my vibe and had no luck. And just by looks the hhr appears smaller, could be wrong, but good luck. As long as it isn't raining when I leave work I can give u dimensions of my 05 fire hood

I transported a bare 03-05 cavalier carbon fiber invader hood in my HHR. It is a bastard to get in, but once in, it fits fine. It will only go in and out one way., but it will fit. I believe we put one end closest to the window in first on the bottom side, and had the latch side up towards the roof of the HHR.

It took about 5 tries to figure it out.

The box will not fit!

The hood did fit and honestly was not dificult to get inside at all.

I imagine a little more tedious with a CF hood, catch it wrong and chip a corner or cause it to crack.
