Just remember, the cheaper the equiptment you use, the more likely it has to not function properly. There are alot of enternal working componets to spray guns, Seals, orifaces, needles, gaskets. Cheap guns can get the job done, but you have to be sure to clean then thoroughly with Lacquer thinner, after each use. Even to the point of taking appart the gun to clean it. So things stay working accordingly.

Devilbiss sell some starting line guns. you can pick up for under $200.

TCPGlobal has some good deals on guns and equiptment.
For a 1 time paint job, or little things, This set wouldn't be bad for you at all. It was our starter set in school. The touch up gun shat out on me with only using it 1-2 times and i wound up buying some good guns. The Red is the Base/clear gun, Blue Primer/Sealer. Silver Touch-up. For what your attempting to do, it should work fine.

The better the quality of gun though, the better the paint job. I will say that. I was a non-believer until i bought some DeVilbiss Starting Line guns. It's amazing the difference you see. Just remember you'll need a filtering system to paint. Something to remove Oil/Water from the air going to the gun. You can pick up small ones at Harbor Freight, or wall units as well. I use the small ones for airbrushing.

If you want any help or advice, let me know. I'll try to help how i can.
