I have a big problem with my headlights. First the connectors that come from the car to the headlight housing had corroded I replaced them looking at a haynes book to make sure that i was wiring everything right, and they worked kind of... the high beams would not work so I thought no biggie I just won't use them. Then I had that foggy headlight thing going on and I tried to use the do it yourself anti fog kit it didn't really work that well. Next plan of action I bought brand new headlight housing from ebay all oem with amber lenses and now the damn headlights wont work at all. I have checked all wires and fuses everything new bulbs new fueses everything. Can anyone shed some light on what else to check what other problems there could be anything else that I can do. I have been having a somewhat similar problem with my 05 2dr...without typing everything out to let you know what ideas people have given me here is a link to the post

I'd try checking the ground. Be sure to actually remove the paint at the contact point. Every ground location on my 2000 Z24 has had the paint removed to improve the ground connection.
