Im wondering what bulbs you guys use in your j's? The reason i ask is my wife 2000 cavi has the dimest damn lights ever! I bough the bright blue bulbs off ebay (which suck) and there not bright at all. So any suggestions on brands? She doesnt want hids, i have them in my car and she doesnt like them. They are the stock headlights, and hey are factory replacments so theres no yellowing. Thanks in advance

how does one not like hids? I like being able to see.

Im using Nokya 2500k and they are bright! Got them off Amazon for under $20..

I use Sylvania Silverstar Ultra. They are nice and bright.

Airgazm- I have no idea why she hates them, but she does lol. I have them in mine and wont ever go back to halagons.

x2 on SilverStar Ultras! I had them in both my Sunfires and they were very bright white. I currently have them in the low and high beams on my '09 Vibe GT, along with regular SilverStars in the fog lights and I couldn't be happier with the light output.

x2 on wearing rubber gloves as well. This is where most people end up having problems with SilverStars not lasting long. If you touch the glass with your finger/s, the oils will ruin the bulb and make it burn out prematurely.

Also, another tip... check eBay for SilverStars (the headlights on a 2000 Cavalier use 9007 bulbs ). I got two pairs of SilverStar Ultras for $70.00 shipped. They retail for $49.99 a piece at Auto Zone, etc.
