So I am new to this site and already it has me in aw. I just bought a 1995 Chevy Cavalier from my mother for 300 dollars. It is def worth way more it is in decent condition and with a little clean up it is looking much better. I have one main problem with it, at higher revs it bogs down or miss-fires... I have like 3 giant holes in my exhaust (Different spots) Could this could my problem? I planned on fixing it next paycheck, The beast is loud too, because of the holes. I do all of my own work and was looking for pointers. Is there anything I should know about these little machines? I do enjoy the sun roof and cd player that is in it. Though that will be out in the next month for a new deck...
congrats on the pick-up, id start by looking at fuel pressure/volume, that is after you have tuned it up.
Sounds like spark plugs too maybe. Pull them out and see that they look like.
