sunfire with a ROOF RACK
Saturday, November 06, 2010 2:23 PM
Now-
I've seen a TON of Cav's with racks, but what about fires?
I searched, and searched, and couldnt find anything with sunfires in it.

Reason im asking-
It's that time of year again.
I live in the hills.
the BIG hills.
We have tourists flocking here every winter to carve up the fresh powder.

Now, i want to be able to take my car up to the mountains to go boarding,
but i CAN NOT put my board in my car. It will be packed with 5 people.
thus, i need a rack that can hold a board or two.

This time last year, i had a truck, i didnt need to worry about racks.
Any photos/links/suggestions would rock.

^^Agreed

CLC is the only active 3rd gen on here with a rack that I know of. My Thule will be going on in about a month or two. Should probably buy the short roof adapters also since you have a coupe. I did not buy them so my load bars sit kinda close together like Charlies.

Here are a few links

as i said, i need it for boarding.
Im not one of those eurotrash kids who always have a rack, without any excuse to use it.

I asked about sunfires, because id like to see what it would look like on MY car.
Im aware that cavaliers and sunfires are the same car, performance/build wise,
but they obviously dont look the same.

Thanks for the help.

Who cares what it looks like? Your buying it for the functionality of it, not the looks.

Truth. Ill write it in stupid for the arrogant kid.

THERE ARE NO RACKED SUNFIRES ON HERE. As I said above. CLC is the only active 3rd gen with a rack.

if you want to see it on YOUR car, why not try buying one, place it on your car, and stand back 10 feet?....or maybe photo shop no?

chances are its going to look like crap, but hey its functional not aesthetic. if you want good looking get a different vehicle.

Oh, snap.
I guess i was just told.

Is this really how wonderful the community is as a whole?
There are HUNDREDS of people on this forum.
perhaps one of them knew of something, or some kind of lead.
Instead, you decided to speak for every single one of them, because, of course; you know everything, yeah?
Wait; maybe i'll write it in stupid for the douchebag.

yep.
I also found a photo of one on a similar forum.
If i do commit to this rack, it will be something that will stay on year round. Between boarding, Biking, etc...
hence why;
it HAS to look decent.
I cant stand to have a dent in my car, let alone a huge eyesore, if it really looked HORRID.

Overall, im about 50/50 on the concept. it wont look BAD, but at the same time, if I saw it on another sunfire, Id think they were trying to roll with Audis and Dubs. Proceed to mock.

ya know what's funny is i keep seeing you get butthurt over people answering your questions with sarcasm, and yet YOU were the one to come off like a dickweed to mike originally in your post when all he did was try to help you.

was it exactly what you were looking for? no. but at least he tried. mike's one of the more informative/kind member's of the community. if you don't like his answer (even though he went out of his way to at least try to help you) there's a little red x at the top of the screen you can click at any point, that'll take YOUR douchebag, ungrateful ass out of here.

Well, When you come on here with a sig like that and boast your "cleanest engine bay", Yeah...You come off as arrogant.

And yes, People will treat you like an arrogant little kid if you act like one. I was nice and helpful in my original post, Even while disregarding your arrogance in past posts towards me and other members.

Carry on.
