Should I even bother getting a dual bulb. Does anyone even use there High beam halogens once they have their HID low beams?
most people do not use their high beams very often once you have HID's.
And don't buy eBay HID's.
Get them from ddmtuning.com Better quality, lifetime warranty, hassle free customer service. I've bought 4 kits from them and will never shop anywhere else.
Yes, I think i will go with DDM tunning. I just found a review on VVM. They pay to ship replacements but you have to pay to ship it to them, to CHINA. There customer service is poor.
I'm sure if I ever have a problem its not going to cost me 30$ to ship to California from Canada.
Will the full size ballast fit fine in a j-body?
THe only bad thing I read about DDM is their shipping to Canada can incur customs charges (60$) and delays.
Walter, you'd be surprised: go to your post office and inquire about shipping a 1kg parcel to China or to California.
I think you'll get the same international price...
Yeah I don't want to have to pay 32$ twice to have something replaced under warranty. I bought a kit from VVME. They told me if I have an issue, i have to pay to ship the hardware to the US warehouse and they will pay for return shipping.
DDMs are perfect. I had a bad ballast, and they resolved the issue and I got a new one in a week and no problems since (knock on wood). Also, I NEVER use my highs anymore, but they're also halogens. But with HID lows and fogs, I never need high beams.

I also want to buy custom glare shields until I get projectors. Any suggestions?
I think the 9007-3 bulbs (bi-xenon) have a lot less glare because they already have a glare shield. Any one using 9007-3 find there is a noticable decease in glare compared to the glare from a 9007-1 or 9007-2.
This is a picture of a 9007-3 with a shield on it.
