I had a carbon fiber grill emblem on my 03 cavalier from rksport for about 3 years and it just went to crap so i wanna go back to the factory bowtie anyone know where i can get one without spending I think 30 bucks for a new one from the dealer??

I have a new one that I purchased and am never going to use. I am willing to sell it to you for 10 bucks. I noticed that you live in michigan, as do I. The only way I would be wiling to part with the emblem is if we could meet in person, simply because I don't feel like dealing with the shipping. I don't know where you are at, but I am in Grand Rapids.
You wont be able to get one from a junkyard.. in order to replace it, it has to be new. The yellowish chrome/foil is actually part of the double sided tape. Now you can save the clear plastic, but then if you try to tape it on, what ever color you use, will show through and since its hard to get one big sheet of double sided tape you would see your strips of tape.
So in conclusion, you either have to buy it new, Or paint the clear plastic piece so you can't see the tape used to hold it on.
Okay ...well Brent I have moved to AZ theres no way u will ship it? id give yah like 20 bucks for it and shipping wouldnt be expensive..

thats what happened to me when i got one, so what i did was sand it, paint it and clear it with auto paint, plus got some 3M double sided tape, all from local auto parts store,. BTW I painted mine silver (both front and back) looks sweet w/ my Arrival Blue exterior color.
I'd be willing to ship it. I guess if I shipped it in an envelope it would be cheap. The only thing is, we need to figure out how to do payment.
