Are digital ballasts more reliable than the standard type?

I LOOOOOVE my digital ballasts. Why? Because they look so much more, I dunno, classy.
With standard ballasts, if you're playing your music loud or if you have some other accessory drawing power, your lights will dim noticably. Especially with the stereo your lights will dim with every bass hit if you play loud enough. With digital ballasts, they voltage at the ballast stays the same
all the time. There is no flickering, no flashing. Just solid, gorgeous light.

2. Not like regular HID kit, the relay harness makes the ballasts drive power directly from the battery so you don't have to disable Day Running Lights. .
3. It has fuse to protect the entire headlight electric system.
Is this true about not having to disable the DRLs? In my head, it seems right because with a relay, only the signal is taken from the plug, as a switch.
But, what do I know about these things? I haven't done anything like this.
I found a cheaper site for canadian shipping
http://www.vvme.com. But they only offer a 18 month warranty apposed to the lifetime through DDM tuning. How good is their lifetime warranty. Should I just go DDM to save money on bulbs in the long run. Or is this a questionable lifetime warrant?

if you upgrade the craptastic grounds in the headlight harness the dimming is greatly reduced....

I may just go with DDM tuning because of the lifetime warranty. It would be 98$ because of shipping. Anyone have any problems getting the replacements parts covered for warranty. Is it just worth the extra 20$ to go with them. Because I can get the relay, digital ballast and bulbs for 82$ total including shipping at
http://www.vvme.com/. They offer a 18 month warranty with faster and cheaper shipping to Canada.

Me too. I'd like to convert a set of halogen foglights to HID.. Although I don't really seem to like the beam of HIDs.. All the aftermarket ones I've seen seems to shine really wide but not far..
