I need help setting up my xentec bixenon hid kit. so i disabled the DRLs and then i swaped the the wires on the connector that plugs into the factory plug and only one of the bulbs changes from low to high what is my problem??
I have a Xentec kit in my 98 Sunfire. I had some issues with the same thing. check the house shaped connector at the bulb, its the one that controls the magnet that moves the light. make sure that is tight, and if nothing else, a little tap on the headlight housing fixed it for me. Also you might want to check the movement of the bulb itself. see if its hard to move by hand (WEAR GLOVES!!!! AND DON'T DO WHILE THE BULB IS CONNECTED) Just VERY LIGHTLY push on the top and check to see how easily it moves, it should be a very easy fluid movement.
